Zsófia Klauber

Zsófia Klauber specialises in industrial property rights, particularly legal matters relating to trademarks and enforcement proceedings, including trademark registration, opposition, revocation and litigation. She represents Hungarian and international companies and private individuals in industrial property rights matters before the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and in litigation proceedings before the court. Zsófia has considerable experience in conducting searches in Hungarian and international trademark databases, alternative dispute resolution procedures in the scope of domain names, as well as in formulating related comprehensive legal opinions.

She has published numerous articles in the field of trademark law both in Hungarian and English.

After graduating from Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Law in Budapest in 2001, Zsófia joined Sár and Partners Attorneys at law as a candidate attorney, becoming an attorney in 2006 and subsequently making partner.

Since December 2018 Zsófia has been a partner in Danubia Legal and the name partner of one of the law firms operating under the Danubia Legal brand.

In 2005 Zsófia spent five months working as a trainee at the EUIPO in Alicante where she dealt with opposition and trademark registration proceedings. In the same year she won a scholarship to the Max Planck Institute (Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law) in Munich where she undertook research in field of EU trademarks.
